Retail Therapy

Clothes are the spells we cast & live in.

They announce our longings, guard our vulnerabilities, and shape what we believe is possible to become.

Retail Therapy is a ritual of embodiment, where I guide you through the psychic and aesthetic rituals of getting dressed—through color, texture, proportion, and story.

Together, we undress your inner myths, reconnect with the stories about your body, and design new languages about your silhouette as an act of healing and creative reclamation.

The Philosophy

Each session is an act of devotional self-fashioning: merging astrology, psychology, and aesthetics to reclaim dressing as a ritual of power and care.

We begin with what’s here—your closet, your body, your chart, your story.

We work in three layers.

Psychological:

I ask questions that have nothing to do with “flattering”: What do you reach for when you feel most yourself? What have you been taught to hide? Where does the resistance live? We name what needs to be undressed.

Astrological:

If you choose to, I will read your chart to make space for the aesthetic language you were born speaking——not as new rules, but a remembering. We trace the stories your body has been told and the ones it’s ready to tell now.

Aesthetic:

And then we dress. We play—

with texture, color, and shape—not for trends, not for the male gaze, but for the body that knows itself.

We practice standing in what makes you visible.

We bridge the gap between your mood board and your mirror.

We build outfits that honor your body as it is and serve your life as it is.

This is intimate, tender, and accountable work.

You won’t leave with another Pinterest board.

You’ll leave a student of the body that teaches you, cradles you, and has always been waiting for you to come home.

The body is your first altar.

But it is not a blank canvas. It’s been written on.

By diet culture. By men. By mothers who felt shame about their own flesh. By every person who taught you that certain prints, certain cuts, certain visibilities were not for bodies like yours.

You have a mood board saved somewhere. But when you reach for that audacity——

something stops you.

The gap between what you want to wear and what you allow yourself to wear is where I work.

This isn’t styling as aspiration.

It’s excavation.

We name what you were taught to feel wrong about: the size label that triggers you, the saturation you think you are “too much” for, the silhouette that would make you seen when you learned to stay “safe” and small.

How much have you spent trying to become “safer” and “smaller”——on diets disguised as wellness, on exercise framed as health, on an endless pursuit of a body that’s always twenty pounds away?

You’ve been conditioned to invest in becoming.

But what if you’re not a before picture? or a rough draft? or a problem to be solved before it deserves beauty, texture, and delight?

What if your body is not the problem?

What if the belief about the body being a problem is creating a problem?

What if you decide that erasing your body and the expression of your flesh in the world is no longer worthy of your investment?

What if adorning the body you have today with intention, reverence, and pleasure is the spell that breaks the curse?

If you are ready to remember the body left behind when shame took its throne,

if you want to anoint the places you hid with play and pleasure,

if you want to reimagine your wardrobe as a practice to wear belief, longing, and joy on your skin,

this work is for you.
